Supporting Ayrshire Businesses in the 5G Innovation Journey
Last Thursday, Creo had the pleasure of attending the 5G Innovation Region (5GIR) Ayrshire event, which highlighted incredible ideas and examples of connectivity and collaboration across the region. The event showcased how the rollout of 5G technology is set to revolutionise businesses across Ayrshire, enhancing their operations and driving innovation.
As part of our role on several frameworks with East Ayrshire Council, we were introduced to a variety of businesses who stand to benefit significantly from the adoption of 5G. During the event, six businesses were awarded funding to support their growth and explore how 5G can elevate their processes through innovative projects. We’re proud to say that three of our customers are among those approved, and we’ve been commissioned to bring their projects to life:
- H&V Commissioning Services LTD: We are working on a Fire Damper Video Project, which will streamline inspection processes and significantly reduce the time required to produce detailed reports.
- Scotseats: We’ve been tasked with developing a CRM and Order Processing System, aimed at digitalising operations to improve efficiency and connectivity.
- SD Wind Energy: Our project involves enhancing Wind Turbine Data Monitoring for remote and extreme weather conditions, creating solutions for connectivity, automation, and data storage.
These projects span a wide range of sectors, including process manufacturing, tourism, and aerospace, showcasing the versatility and potential of 5G technology to address unique business challenges. It’s an honour to play a part in implementing these transformative projects, which are not only driving growth but also positioning Ayrshire as a leader in 5G innovation.
A huge thanks to all 5GIR partners for their incredible work in championing this initiative. We’re excited to get started on these assignments and see the impact of 5G connectivity on our customers’ success.
