Hiring a Junior Web / Graphic Designer

We are looking for a creative individual to join our team and grow their skills working in a growing design agency.

Responsibilities and Duties

We are looking for a designer who has a keen eye for user experience design, you will be designing and aiding our developers with front end web design as well as other graphic design projects. We are not looking for someone with software or backend development skills but someone who knows what not only looks good but is easy to use.

Qualifications and Skills

Ability to create design mock-ups in photoshop
Ability to create designs in Illustrator including but not limited to logos / flyers / brochures
Understanding of User Experience
Good Communication Skills
Willingness to learn
Understanding of Social Media

Desirables

Understanding of / ability to use HTML and CSS
Experience using WordPress

Brief

Show us your creative skills by designing a poster design with company logo for “Big Wow” e.g. Big Wow Dog Food, Big Wow Carpet Cleaner, Big Wow funeral directors… as long as the company is called Big Wow.

Poster Spec – A3 print ready poster, advertising a product or service for Big Wow. You’ll be asked to do a 1 minute pitch on your poster, we are looking for the Big Wow factor.
