Digital Innovation, Ayrshire
Winner of the Digital Innovation Award at the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2026, for Geco Connect.
Beyond brand and web, our development team designs and builds bespoke platforms, apps and CRMs that take real problems off people's desks. From children's residential care to construction, manufacturing and field engineering, we build software around the way your business actually works.
Winner of the Digital Innovation Award at the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2026, for Geco Connect.
The Solutions on Demand Group won Innovation in Business at the 28th Glasgow Business Awards in 2026, with Creo-developed Geco Connect at the heart of the win.
Geco Connect secured £90,000 through Scottish EDGE, Scotland's flagship competition for high-growth businesses, to accelerate development and expansion.
Winner of the Innovation & Technology Award at the 2025 ROCCO Business Awards, run by Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce.
Most of the platforms on this page started the same way: a team buried in spreadsheets, paper forms or a handful of systems that don't talk to each other. We sit down with the people doing the work, map how things really happen, then design and build software that fits.
Everything is built in-house by our developers and UX designers, hosted securely, and supported long after launch. Where AI genuinely helps, we use it. Where it doesn't, we leave it out.
Off-the-shelf CRMs ask you to change how you work to fit the software. Ours work the other way round. We map your processes first, then build a CRM that does exactly what your team needs, with nothing you'll never use and no per-seat licence creep.
Scottish Care represents around 1,000 members across 400+ independent care services. Alongside their new members' website, we built a bespoke Member CRM that gives the Scottish Care team, Independent Sector Leads and Branch Chairs one central hub for managing member relationships, with real-time member information, key statistics, logged emails, survey results and finance data in one place.
What started as a brand workshop grew into a new website, video and a bespoke CRM. The CRM runs Instant Impact Group's operation end to end: customer work requests come in through their own portal, jobs are quoted, approved and scheduled, and engineers record site visits with photos from the field. Customers only ever see their own sites and jobs.
Changing residential care, making every voice heard.
Geco Connect brings care records, safeguarding, outcomes, the voice of the child and AI-assisted reporting into one secure platform. It gives frontline teams in residential care and specialist education a clearer view of every child, and gives them back time spent on repeated admin.
Built by The Solutions on Demand Group, with Creo's development team at its core, through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with the University of Strathclyde. It is designed around Scotland's national frameworks, GIRFEC and SHANARRI.
One platform. One digital thread. One source of truth.
A digital quantity surveying and commercial management system that connects clients, contractors and subcontractors with live cost data, replacing disconnected spreadsheets.
Created with chartered quantity surveyor Richard Neilson MRICS, because only one in four construction projects finish on budget.
Through the 5G Innovation Region (5GIR) programme and our frameworks with East Ayrshire Council, we were commissioned to deliver digital transformation projects for funded Ayrshire businesses. Each one swapped paper, phone calls and spreadsheets for connected systems built around how the team works day to day.
CRM and order processing system
A bespoke CRM that follows every order from quote to delivery. Jobs move through each production department with clear sign-offs, so the team always knows where an order is, who is working on it, and what's holding it up. Quotes, clients, credit holds and accounts all live in one secure system.
Field inspection and reporting app
An inspection app for engineers on site, built to streamline inspections and cut the time it takes to produce detailed reports. It works offline in plant rooms and ceiling voids, captures photo and video evidence against each fire damper on an interactive floor plan, and syncs when the signal returns.
Tell us how your team works today and we'll show you what it could look like. Funding may be available through council and digital grant schemes, and we can help you find it.
