Video Production | Capturing the SDS National Voice Conference 2026
We recently had the opportunity to film the SDS National Voice Conference 2026, held at the Technology & Innovation Centre at the University of Strathclyde.
Bringing together professionals, speakers and attendees from across the sector, the event focused on this year’s theme: “Learning and Leading.”
From keynote presentations and panel discussions to interactive workshops, the conference created space for meaningful conversations, shared experiences and forward-thinking ideas.
Our role was to capture it all.
Telling the Story of the Day
Events like this are about more than just what’s said on stage.
They’re about the atmosphere.
The conversations.
The people behind the ideas.
Through a combination of live event filming, speaker highlights and natural moments throughout the day, the video captures the energy and purpose of the conference — creating a piece of content that reflects both the message and the experience.
This kind of video becomes a valuable asset long after the event has finished.
It can be used to showcase impact, share key messages with a wider audience and support future engagement.
Why Event Video Matters
For organisations running conferences, events and workshops, video offers a clear way to extend the value of the day.
It allows you to:
- Share key insights with those who couldn’t attend
- Reinforce your message across digital channels
- Capture the credibility and scale of your event
- Create content that can be reused across marketing and communications
Most importantly, it ensures the event doesn’t end when the day does.
A Lasting Impact
The SDS National Voice Conference is a great example of how important conversations can be brought to life through video.
It captures not just what was discussed, but why it matters.
